I want to take space to report the fun things that happen to me and my family due to my bodybuilding.  People are always asking me what my kids think about what I do and how it affects them. My kids support me and my sport 100%.  I have asked them if they wanted me to quit, that I would.  It gets hard when mom is always at the gym and dieting. But they say they like what I do. My boys tell their friends “my mom is bigger than your dad” LOL.

SCHOOL DAZE
One time in class my son’s teacher was showing them a picture of a fit man in a magazine saying how strong he was and what not.  My son told her “my mom is stronger than that guy”.  The teacher told him “oh come on now Dillon I don’t think so” When I came in for my parent teacher conference she took one look at me (tank top and shorts) and looked down at my son and apologized to him for not believing him.

A LETTER FROM MY DAUGHTER
A lot of people always ask me what I think of my mom’s bodybuilding and usually I just answer with the usual “its cool” but really there is more to it than that.  First off I hate the diets!  My poor mom gets so grouchy and stressed, but of course who wouldn’t eating egg whites & chicken all the time!  Really it’s just the diet that sucks though because I love the positive attention she gets, except from hot guys at the mall who should be checking me out, not my mom!  Ha ha!

My mom has worked soooo hard for this and no one has had to deal with more at one time than she has (me& my bro’s, work, all the household matters).   My mom is so strong physically & mentally & to me she’s already won because coming this far is such an accomplishment in itself.  I’m so proud of her! I love you mom!

GLUTES
It is funny how kids do listen to us even when we don’t think they are.  About a couple years ago I am walking into a block buster video to pick up some movies with my kids. All of a sudden from nowhere my youngest son (6) slaps my teen daughter in the butt and says “Nice glutes Chelse”.  It was the funniest damn thing!!  It was not meant to be funny, he really meant it.  She looked at me and we could not stop laughing.  We almost wet our pants, and he just looked at us like we were crazy!!!  

GRANDPAS BRA
My mom and dad have backed me in this bodybuilding endeavor and were at my first show with my kids in tow.  They kept them over night the night before and skipped prejudging.  So while they are getting ready for  bed the night before my dad (bless his heart, is no spring chicken) is changing his shirt, looks at my son (again my youngest) and gives him a double bi shot and says “so what do you thing about this?”  My son says “I think you need a bra grandpa”   LOL  OMG is that the funniest thing!!!!  Out of the mouths of babes!!!! Again he was serious, no joking.
